I have the Viper 791 XV and it is a great unit. You will have to use your valet key for the remote start though/

I have Nissans auto-start on the wifes Quest but not the Titan. We really don't use it that much since our vehicles are garaged but I like that it uses the factory remote (hit the LOCK button twice to start) and is warranted by Nissan. I think it was about $300 installed.

For those of you with the nissan one, what kind of range are you getting? same as stock unlock/lock? or did they put some antenna on there to extend teh range?

Same range as the factory remote...that's what is used. So if you are able to unlock your doors from 50', the auto-start will be the same.

being an installer, I'm not a big fan of the r/s added to factory remotes. It limits you to range, as well as options, and if not wired correctly you could start the vehicle from the lock switch inside the truck. I just bought a Titan, and haven't installed the remote start yet, but I installed one in my friend's '04 Titan....and I did alot of cool stuff with it. With the way the door lock systems work, I even setup that you can roll the windows up and down with the remote transmitter. My recommedations for a KILLER alarm with remote start are either the Code Alarm CA-670, or if you aren't concerned about the remote window feature, you can go with a Prestige APS-996A. Hope this helps....

same here...have the Viper 791xv and i love it. the website states that it has about 1/2 mile range...but i dont think its quite that far.

the remote start will be well worth it when winter gets here. i also start the car before i get in it just so it has time to warm up, thats what i like most about it. i can have the car warming up while im putting on my shoes to walk out the door, very functional

all wired - how did you control the window roll-up and roll-down without a window module? i figured you can probably use a validity output to roll down the windows like the oem fob, but how did you do the window roll-up?
