A very important note about this recall. Please read it, if the harness needs to be replaced they will need all keys and key fobs. Take note of this if you bring it in and have that stuff ready to give them so you dont have a delay.

"Eddie from Torrance" quote from Boogie Nights, man I miss CA.

Looks like that applies to Titans without a wiring harness. I had mine completed last week with the brake TSB, no issue with the FOBS or keys. A good heads up though.

That is incorrect information about the key and key fobs. They will only need both of them if the BCM also needs to be replaced. The harness can be replaced and it doesn't affect the key or key fob.

I had mine done last week, only had one key and key fob at the time and the one left at home still works fine. They only needed to replace the harness and not the BCM on mine, therefore no reprograming of key/fob.

It's not "incorrect" information. That's why I said READ the recall. You even stated in your response only if they have to change the BCM. Please think before you speak.

Actually, you said " if the harness needs to be replaced they will need all keys and key fobs" and that is incorrect. The recall says that if the bcm (not the harness) needs to be replaced they will need all keys and key fobs.

I'm not taking sides. Just trying to make sure I understand the gist of the recall. But "Please think before you speak" ???, come on, be nice....

Man, remind me not to make those other two guys mad, I knew what you were trying to say.

Anyway on to important stuff, that's pretty cool info about the movie, did they get to watch the filming? Not quite the "family" movie, but definitely one of my favorites.

Yea they did... I wasn't a "close" friend at the time so I had no idea. It's trippy cuz when I go in his house and walk around I have flashbacks of the movie. They would go there about every other day and was able to watch taping and meet people.
