EVAP - Control Valve SES code P0455

As I was driving home, the SES light came on. With the help of the postings from others, I was able to determine that the code was P0455. EVAP - Control Valve. I'm thinking gas cap (I have a locking replacement). What are your thoughts?

That's exactly what it is. Put the stock cap back on and you should be fine.

How long have you had your locking gas cap and what kind is it?

had it about a month now...it is an AC Delco cap. I ordered a Stant 1058 from Rock Auto and they substituted this cap because they were out.
Last night was the coldest night since I had the truck and it went up to 70 during the day. I'm thinking this caused some expansion and some air leakage past the cap.
