Titan and its growing pains

Overall Satisfaction
Appearance
Comfort
Performance
Value

Pros: Great power, differant styling
Cons: Rear ends blowing apart, brakes, bad service

Dealers like to give the run around on known problems and issues, fixes take too long. Went to Titan talk.com to find answers and they are in denial, they think everyone is a Troll that asks about a problem, went to Titan-spot.com and found some very helpful straight forward answers and very friendly people who understand this truck and its growing pains

Overall the Titan has some growing pains and will need to address the concerns of it owners to build loyality.

I ca tell you if that guy is from Indy and I'll bet anyone that I could tell you where he was trying to get his Titans problems taken care of, They probably were going to Collins Nissan on the west side of town or Ed Martin Nissan they tricked me into a car purchase b-4 and when I tried to take the car back after a"weekend test drive" they acted like they had never seen me b-4 not to bash the dealers around here but there are a few of the "bad" apples in the bunch. I can tell you that I stayed away from the dealers in town and found an amazing group of guys @ John Hubler Nissan/suzuki in Columbus, Indiana they have taken the absolute best care of me and any of my repair, questions, and even some Nissan TD questions for the future models(2007-8) models

thanks, should have searched, figures that this has already been discussed.

I did some reading on alot of the remarks posted there, it seems that the number one complaint is the brakes which i can understand and agree with. To me nissian needs to send a letter to all of us and admit that there is a warping problem instead of making us fight to get it done, once is enough, twice i've got an issue , three times + i'm pissed

It's titanspot, add www in front and .com at the end. Forum won't allow names of a competitor I guess.

Nissan needs to issue a TSB on the rear end and stop their denial. So many people have already had problems, it's obvious that this is a REAL problem. Their dancing around the issue with a synthetic differential fluid replacement doesn't correct the problem. I know, mine failed with the new synthetic fluid.

It also took Nissan way to long to come to grips with their brake problem. They should had issued those letters long ago. I just received mine this month.

I can understand that person's frustration as some do get a little offensive here when you talk against the Titan with no previous time in the forum. For us, who have had time here, the nature of the posts turns to concern over problems. I'm grateful for all the compliments and good luck jesters I've had on my trade in to the Pathfinder.

This forum did seem like a good target for all the Ford and Dodge fan boys to fire at, hence, the higher offensive mechanism of some members.

Have a good one.

But even if they allowed the links, for some reason we always return to TitanTalk.com, the Nissan Titan Forum.

This is where the cool-aid is strongest eh.

Its a known fact that many who invest a lot of resources in their purchase naturally like to feel good about their decision. By force they then develop a fan club, there are few who see the situation for what it is but then group think takes over.

Don't talk trash about the Titan here, but we talk all other trucks down to a level lower than the Titan.

Remember we have the best truck on the market.
