how do chrome wheels hold up inthe winter

I was thinking about getting my factory wheels chromed. I live in the Northeast part of the country. I know 2 sets of wheels would be great however that is to costly for me. How would the chrome wheels hold up in the winter time. Would they look like hell in the spring????????/

Thanks

I live in South Dakota and as long as the wheels are chrome plated aluminum they will be fine. If you get cheap wheels that are chrome plated steel they will rust and look like crap.

I don't know it might be an old wifves tale. I live on long Island and plenty of cars come from the factory with chrome and the wheels look fine year in and year out. Just my 2 cents. Dont know for sure.

Cheap, winter steel wheels should be readily available to you northern guys. Remember, we share the same wheels with the Chevy guys. Ideas from a guy in Fla. Just trying to help.

I guess the Dodge website is wrong. You Dodge owners know everything. I keep forgetting that. I am just a dumb Titan owner. Forgive me for posting on a NISSAN TITAN WEBSITE.

Seems some people have a hard time getting along. Didn't realize that a person had to own a Titan to be able to post a civil reply to a question.

HemiRam, not all Titan owners have their noses in such an elevated postion. Welcome.

Doesn't matter if you have Dodge, Ford, a blinged out Yugo. If you have a good idea, as we say in the deep south-Brang It On!

his zack are polished aluminum, not the cheap plastic chrome ones. FYI even the daytonas come with the cheap plastic ones. that sucks cause for a truck with a msrp like that, you can only choose (maybe polished) or the cheap chromers. I do like the aluminum ones though. hey hemi, nice truck (again)!!!!! gotta love that hood.
