windows

I have noticed that on several occasions when I have not completely closed my windows, I will go back to find them about half way down. The first couple of times I thought I might have left them open but the last time I know I only left it cracked. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Do you carry your keys in your pocket?
Some people have talked about their keys being in their pocket and the unlock button somehow staying compressed and rolling the windows down.

The unlock button on your factory key fob rolls down the window when you hold it for more than 5 seconds. This is to help the user release some built up heat in the cab and to have a "cool" truck by the time you sit down. This is a must when living in the desert.

the key fob thing might be it. i can't tell you how many times i've been in the house, bent over to pick something up, and set off the alarm. other keys i guess just press the button.

not to hijack the thread but i've noticed my passenger window not going up as fast as the driver window anymore. they used to seal up at the same time.....i'm going to investigate that, and may have the dealer look at it.

Did you ever think that the passenger window motor might have been built by dodge and the drivers side motor by Nissan? Seems logical!

of all those theories, i'll go with haunted.....

if i find out pi, i'll let you know. it's about a $22 gas trip to my nearest dealer, so not sure when i'll get over that way. (i measure every trip in dollars now instead of miles, by the way)

Well the unlock button theory makes sense since I do carry my keys in my back pocket while working and many times when I bend down my alarm goes off. However, I like the haunted theory better!
