What can I expect to pay for an 05 leftover?

The 2 Titans i'm looking at are:

2005 Nissan Titan Crew SE 4x4 , Big Tow Package , SE Rockford Fosgate Package with Captain , SE Utility Bed Package , Floor Mats , Utili-Track Sliding Floor Tray MSRP $35,000.00

2005 Nissan Titan Crew XE 4x4 , Spray-In Bedliner , XE Preferred Package , Floor Mats , MSRP $30,830.00

Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Get it for a lil under invoice and then less whatever rebates are.

I'm shopping for essentially the same truck as the first one you list. My problem has been availability. '05 4x4 SE CC's are getting really scarce, especially in Florida. Lots of 4x2's to choose from but it seems dealers here order very few 4x4's.

I faxed 20 dealers in-state (see www.fightingchance.com ), and called several others out of state. So far the best offer I've had is around $780 under invoice before rebates. I'm holding off for now waiting to hear what November brings in terms of manufacturer rebates - hoping the current $2250 cash back is raised to $3000.

There's really no reason to pay more than invoice for a leftover since dealers should be anxious to unload those '05s. The biggest question would be whether you are willing to travel for the best deal. Sounds like you are since you've made calls to out of state dealers. There are deals out there if you are patient and willing to travel. If you are willing to travel to North Texas (DFW area) there are quite a few '05s left over at the local Nissan dealers here. Hope this helps.

You know, the SE with options you describe don't make economical sense. In fact, when trying to decide between an SE with big tow, bedliner and Utilitrack, etc. I had to see the numbers to compare.

Attached is a spreadsheet I made to help me buy my truck. What the sheet will do is allow you to input costs into the "Yellow Fields" and will add up the options, calculate sales tax (5.5% in Wisconsin), allow you to specify trade values, and list downpayment sources, rebates, etc. Then once the grand total is completed, you can plug in your loan term and interest rate and it will calculate your payments.

It will compare the MSRP pricing against the dealer pricing for the SE and the MSRP pricing against the dealer pricing for the LE. You will then be able to see that the SE with options added come so close to the LE price when you plug the numbers. With nearly a $5000 different in base price, once you option up an SE, the gap closes within $2000 difference or $20.00 a month +/- a few dollars.

I just got my 2005 king cab with big tow, utility bed, floor mats, power driver seat, lsd, and whatever else comes with the package. The msrp was almost $29k and the invoice was $25 and some change. I got it for almost $1000 below invoice plus the $3000 rebate, I couldnt say no to that.

Make sure you drain the oil out of the Titan before you hand her the keys.
