Bug and tar remover should work, but I am cheap and use butter. Us old loggers have used butter for over 100 years to remove pitch from our hands. Peanut butter and margarine will also work.

You can even use lard or Crisco type products. I have been drenched with 3-5 gallons of pitch will falling large Fir trees (8'-12' diameter). When I got home I would take a 5 gallon bucket of lard and spread it all over my body. The lard would loosen the pitch and then you had to have a hot shower to melt the lard/pitch combo. It works, and is non toxic to your body.

Denatured alcohol on a rag, rub gently (allowing it to work). It will leave a haze/residue, but easy to remove. Make sure to rewax the area because it will remove any wax you may have on the truck.

OR

Like DWBTITAN said....clay bar with lube or hot soapy water.

Glad I could help! The old fashioned peanut butter (with the oil on top) Is the best the oil has a high fat content. It also works best when the temps. are warm.
