Saw that last year but wonder how effective will it be since it looks like there's too much space between one gripping surface and the next, so your tires will be riding on the snow between the gripping surfaces, unlike chains or cables or the spikes, etc. where there's more bite into the snow. It certainly looks like it will be a lot quieter since it's made out of rubber (or polymer).

I didn't see a speed limitation so I would be careful with those on the highway.

RUBBER?!! How dare you, kvoman! GoClaws are built of solid Duratanium. Pascal himself would be offended.
Ha,ha,ha.. sorry to offend. I thought it would be Captain Kirk of the Starship Enterprise that would be offended! Pascal is hydraulics! If it's not a flexible material "high-performance injection-molded material" (e.g. rubber polymer, etc. or another high tech term for it), how would it be pliable enough to provide suction and expulsion of water as the manufacturer claims?
BTW - what exactly is Duratanium, besides it being called "tin" and on Star Trek episodes? May be that's where I'm lost!

I live in So Cal. We don't have snow here. I only use it 4-5 times per year to take my kids to the mountain for skiing. I want something safe and easy to place on/take off. Easy of installation is my main concern and safe ofcourse.

You can find all you need to know about Duratanium on the backside of any chart of the Periodic Table of Elements. I think it's penciled in.

Thanks majorKAP, I found it, must have been penciled in by Pascal on his last visit to the Starship Enterprise.
