New Titan!!!

Hey. I just picked up my new Titan sunday. It is an 05 smoke LE CC with the big tow. It is awesome!! This site is great. I was gonna get a ford f-150 but after lots of research on this site and others and test drives the Titan won. Thanx to all who post here for helping guys like me make a choice. Here are some pics of the new beast. I'm already planning to put a Banks, Volant, PRG mini-lift, Dunder grill, and Truxedo Lo-Pro on. I'm afraid once i start I won't want to stop the mods. I'd like to do a full CST lift but I don't think my mom will approve. A couple of questions.
1) Do any of you have the Banks/Volant combo? If so how is it?
2) Is the PRG mini-lift hard to install?

Thanx in advance. I'll probably have more questions down the road but I just wanna say Titans kick a**!!

Congrats! Smart move not buying the F-150! My buddy has a Ford and he wishes he would have bought a Titan instead!

I installed the PRG Leveling Kit this weekend (front-end of the mini-lift) which was not a big deal. I used Havock's Titan website ( Havock!) for some help when I was stuck with the sway bar. Check out his website has some good installation notes and pictures.

Yes, this is my first "new" car. I drove an 01 jeep grand cherokee in Australia before this.

I have the Banks/Volant combo, and I like it. They compliment each other and are simple to put on.

Welcome to our obsession.

Still wearing shorts in November?! I had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning! Congrats and welcome!! About 2) The rear blocks are a piece of cake to put on, definitely get the Bilsteins to go with them, took me little over and hour to get everything on and tight. Don't know about the front personally, since I made the mistake of putting on the Daystar spacers and it took all day, but after reading what others have done, it sounds much easier and simpler to do the PRG leveling kit. I had to use a coil spring compressor to put on mine, you won't have to with PRG. Good luck and have fun modding!!

Welcome aboard. Couldn't even wait to get it home from the dealer to take pics huh?

If you are still trying to please mom, then I would go with the Zoomers over the Banks

I know what you mean, I miss the little bit of good cold weather I used to get in Birmingham. Down here when it hits 40 degrees in the dead of winter you would think by what people wear it was 10 below. I haven't dressed for the cold since I left Alabama, shorts and tanks pretty much year round.

Thanx for all the replies. Yeah it was pretty nice weather here. Its getting colder though. My mom doesn't really mind the noise but she thinks a lift would be too big. I wish I could convince her otherwise. I'll do it someday. I just realised that mine doesn't have the 4x4 stickers on the back. Does anyone else have a 4x4 and not have these stickers? Are they an option?

You get the 4x4 stickers on the rear of the truck from the Off Road package, yes, it's an option.

Welcome, nice truck.
