Who made the Switch from another truck to a TITAN?

Hey guys, this is my first post, dog me all you want but i'm new. Was wondering what kind of truck you came from before deciding on your TITAN and if so, good experiences or bad experiences? I'm in the market in picking a TITAN Crew Cab LE 4x4. Is it a good idea to get with a NAV system or get aftermarket? and what is the big difference on the BIG TOW package vs. one that doesn't come with it? BTW, this is what i'm drivin' right now, looking to sell it because it can't pull my 24ft Toy Hauler and get a TITAN but would like to hear from you guys... thanks!!!

I had a Dodge 3/4 4wd. Great axles, mediocre truck.

I moved from an 03 Tundra A/C to Titan Crew. Needed the room. Really liked my Tundra. Thought about getting the Tundra double cab but can't stand the way they look. Been happy with the Titan so far, 9000 miles.

Well I didn't switch from anything, just drove them all and the Titan did what I liked the best hands down. I also have a 04 F350 CC DRW and a 84 Toy pickup 4x4.

I've owned them all over the years. Ford, Chevy, Dodge and Toyota. Some were good some were dogs. The Toyota that I traded for the Titan was a good truck. I'm not brand loyal, I just try to buy the best truck for my money.
Like I said i've owned them all, but in my opinion the Titan is the best 1/2 ton truck out there at the present time.

I second that! My question is why would we dog you? You came on here in a respectable way I wouldnt think anyone would dog you for that. I think the Titan will be a step up for you. And if you have driven one you can see why. Good luck with your choice. Hope to see you around.

I moved up from a 95 Dodge Ram 1500, I have been very happy with the Titan, it is very roomy, even the King Cab and it has a ton of power. I have not had any major problems, my only complains are a few minor interior rattles. Overall I can't imagine driving anything else. The Big Tow Package gives you bigger mirrors, lower gearing, heavy duty battery, Hitch, prewired for trailer brakes, tranny temp gauge, and increased tow rating, It you are going to be towing a 24ft boat it would be a good feature to have.

I had an 00 escalade 4x4. The titan actually rides smoother, but its a 2 wheel drive. In the 1/2 ton market you cant lick it.....

Came from a 99 F150.... Performance and driving wise, this truck is 10X the vehicle... comfort wise, I would give the nod to the F150 but not by enough to really matter. I test drove a lot of trucks but once I drove the Titan my mind was made up. The biggest reason is the 5spd auto tranny.... it's super smooth and really puts the power where you can get at it.

I had an '02 Ford Ranger EDGE plus 4dr 4x4 with the towing package and every other available option. I had a bunch of electrical problems at first, but as soon as they were fixed it served me well. I bought the TITAN to tow my car hauler. The Ranger could do it, but I could tell it put a serious hurtin' on it. My Ranger was nicer inside and had more toys, but not built nearly as well and of course not as much room or power. I bought my TITAN used and my payment only went up $10.00 a month and I got a 72 month 75k mile warranty a crew cab and V8 power. I wish I could have gotten more options, but it's still a nice truck.

I upgraded from an old, trusty and durable(turns out utility poles are more) '86 Nissan 720 King Cab 4x2. Loved it and drove it like I stole it and it kept asking for more. While shopping for its replacement, I test drove a Hemi Ram (fast, but not as fast), a 98 Silverado (liked the body style at the time), and a 96 F-250 Powerstroke (only 65K miles, can pull a house down, didn't get it b/c I went to the Nissan dealer afterward). Fell in love and drove the very first one off the lot from Younker Nissan in Renton, WA. Now that I have something to tow with, my cousin has been having me tow her horses around ocassionally, ~7000lbs. That's technically 500 over my XE's tow rating but she handled it like a champ over flat roads, haven't gone up hill yet. If I could do it over, I'd get the BT, but even without it the Titan can't be beat by any other comparably equipped 1/2 ton. Still no major mechanical problems after 23K miles.

Thanks guys for all your comments. I know that this is a great truck. What options would you suggest to get? With Nav or not?

I say without NAV. How many of us REALLY need NAV???? Save the dough and put the money into mods.
