Bank drive up window

Today I went to the bank, and for the first time since I bought my truck in February I was going to take it to the drive up window. As I pullled up and tried to center myself between the two brick columns it occurred to me the tow mirrors were BOTH going to hit. Even if I folded my side in the other side was to close to risk scraping it up. So, unless I can find a local branch without columns next to the window it's walking inside for me. Anyone else have this problem?

I don't even go through fast food drive-thru, don't want to take a chance and scratch the side of my truck up.

It takes longer to go thru the drive up window than to go inside. I love to go inside to do my business then see all the people still sitting there as I drive off.

Watch out for those drive-up windows that fold outward... In order to get close enough to reach your grub, you have to put your mirror just a couple inches from the window... if they open the window as you drive by, it almost hits.

Once you gouge the building with the mirrors you dont have to worry about it the next time. The mirrors fit in the grooves perfect!

My bank has a dedicated truck lane that is wider than the others and the "transporter" is up higher so that you can reach it easily, without having to reach wwwwaaaaaayyyyyyy down.

Within a month of having my Titan, I parked in a garage and when I backed out, I tore the left mirror off the truck... hit a f&*#@ pole... cost $300.00 at the dealer for the parts and install.

I am a lot more careful now.

newer fast food places have enough spaces for the large cars of their time. Older places are super small and have a smaller turning radius

down here in the south it seem like most of the lanes are truck friendly. I guess it comes from long tradition of havin at least one truck/SUV in most 2 car familys. Main problem here is yay-hoos that figure since they in big vehicle it dont matter how bad they drive, they are bigger and therefor have the right of way. Lafayette is plagued with this mentality. (one of these days I will learn to type without spell checker)
