How long does the "Normal" warranty last?

Do we get a 3year/36k miles on these things? Reason I ask..I don't have the extended warranty yet.....and I am getting lights blinking on the dash that should not be blinking. "Diff lock" flashes when I am not even using 4x4 and no I didn't do the mod. Also last night both "Slip and ABS" were lite up. WTF? So looks like I will be taking her in.
I believe I have till the original warranty expires to decide on the extended warranty, is this correct?

Thanks,

Dumb question, but have you taken it to the dealer, or are you out of warranty yet?

I believe you can buy an extended warranty at just about anytime, but once you get past the 3/36 mark, or the original warranty, they get to be expensive!

But I would def. get the truck in and have it checked!

No, I haven't taken it in yet. I want to know what to expect. The truck is less then a year old and only 7k miles on it. It just started happening...

3 year/36,000 bumper to bumper
5 year / 60,000 engine and drivetrain
12,000 on Adjustments - Dash rattles, clunks etc. Huh? Yup. It is in fine print in the warranty manual. Go figure. My dealer pointed it out to me after several dash rattle visits.

Brakes are 3 yrs /unlimited mileage, because of the warping issues 2004/2005 models experienced.

The "Slip Light" will light up when your wheels are slipping but it should not stay lite, as for the ABS it should not stay lite up but I don't know if it lights up like the "slip light" when the ABS actually kicks in.
