I love my Titan. I knew that when I bought a '04 there would be problems. That is what warranties are for.
I also don't enjoy bashing by fellow owners. I say if you don't like it, sell it. I also say "bite your tongue" after all, you made the decision to buy it.
100% happy Titan owner here. My only minor gripe is I wish the brakes were better. Otherwise, still love the truck as much/ if not more than the first day I bought it.
9 months and 14,000 miles later it it still a pleasure to drive and own. Should anything happen to it I W O U L D buy another one right away. Can't any any more emphatic than that.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
i love my titan, i get complements daily. i traded a 04 maxima se for my 05 titan and the truck's fit and finish is way better that the maxima's. i dont miss driving down the highway and hearing nothing but wind and road noise. dont get me wrong the max was an awesome car just needed to be tweaked a bit. as much as i wish i coulda kept her i dont regret the trade at all.
After 13 months an 14,000 miles, still love my Titan.
Last two vehicles were 99 Silverado and 2001 Tahoe.
99 was first year for new style Silverado-gear shift lever ready to drop off, driver window dropped into door and dealer tried to duct tape it up for days waiting for parts, back window leak, bang upon take off like a refridgerator in the bed shifting ( something about transfer case fluid), etc.
Tahoe had a problem that the dealer ignored until out of warrentee as if brake master cylinder would bind after a stop and suddenly release. On both Chevies, the throttle would stick closed- you had to kick the pedal to break it free each time. Chevy considered throttle body cleaning to stop sticking to be a maintenance item customer to pay $100 for.
At least the few problems with my Titan (brakes, etc.) were taken care of by the dealer with no hassle and I was given rental car each time- a whole different attitude than Chevy.

After 22,893 miles and 16 months of ownership I am 100% satisfied with my 2004 KC. I have had a few minor problems and the coolest thing is Nissan has stepped up and taken care of all of them. My parents drive Chevys & Dodges and they have to scream bloody murder to get things fixed.
The new brakes seem solid and my dealer has taken care of a few recalls before I even was notified by Nissan.

Well I am happy but the ownership of a Titan has nothing to do with my happiness!
Frankly we on this form are generally not kind in the posts about other trucks so I'd venture a guess that prejudice in ownership is alive and well on all forums!
As that ole song goes, don't worry be happy....
Just got my fuel sensor replaced by the dealer who had not seen or heard of a single Titan truck with any issues.
By the way there is a thread on this forum that is labeled as Titan Brake Recall.
There is no brake recall on the Titan just that the dealerships are very caring about their customers and so keep checking the titan rotors and truing them and then replacing them if the truck keeps coming back in. I don't know how that BRAKE RECALL thread title has survived so long on this forum. We are all happy Titan owners!
The only minor minor recall the titan has had is for some tow harness related issue and a seat belt. Besides those two very very minor things NISSAN has not recalled the Titan for any thing else.
My titan is yet to hit the 3K mile mark and I still own it. It did take a very minor hit on the back bumper and crumpled itself silly but oh well its just a little delicate no big deal. The crumple zones and all that.
So swig some cool-aid and don't worry be happy....

4 months and 5700mi later, I am still very happy with my 05 Titan. Hauled my 25ft travel trailer and quad with no problems. Lots of room in our CC for the family. Love the engine/tranny combo.
No regrets. No buyers remorse. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy another Titan in a heartbeat.
Happy with both the Titan and my dealership. Had the brake judder problem at 2500 miles...dealer immediately replaced the rotors and replaced the trailor wiring harness as well...all in under 3 hours. It was the dealer who recommended I install the CAI and the Cat back and assured me I'd get no warranty problems about them from him. The salesman I bought my truck from owns a Titan that's about a month newer than my own and he already has the CAI, Cat back exhaust, new sound system and was supposed to get the Stillen SC installed last week. My dealership likes to install the Stillen SC on its Zs.....at customer request of course. I've never seen more than one other vehicle in the shop at the same time as mine for repairs. Best damn vehicle I've yet to own!
almost 8000 miles on my 05 4x4 offroad crew cab SE. no problems. the best truck i have ever owned or driving. test drove the ford f-150 fx4,chevy z-71, dodge trx4, and tundra 4x4, none of them even compared.
The Titan is better than all the F150's I've owned for sure. And I wouldn't be caught dead in a Chevy. I think the only real competition is Toyota and Dodge.
