All right guys lets set the record straight.
My last 2 vehicles were a Cobra and a Fbody so I still frequent those sites quite often.
I came across more than one thread on the sites concerning Titans where somebody was interested in picking one up and the responses were just brutal. A lot of ignorant bashing on the Titan. One of the most concerning things I saw was people using this sites "Problems and Dealer Service" thread to just rip on our trucks.
Here is an example of one. You may have to be a member, I'm not sure but it's just horrible. http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread...hreadid=301798
Yea most of us have had to deal with things like the brake rotors or with some other things here and there but overall this truck is as solid as any of the GM/Ford/Dodge vehicles I have owned in the past. Lets chime in and note in one collective place our praises of the truck so something is available in one thread for prospective buyers to take a look at vs. having to search all around for what owners are happy with. It's just so easy for them to zero in on the negatives that some owners have had to deal with on the Titan. I just think that section of the forum misrepresents the Titans overall quality. Links to that section were used in more than one thread I saw to sway prospective owners away from buying the truck. It's like a collective black eye to have it all in one place.

I'm happy with my Titan. With reguards to the "dealer service problems" thread, I find that to be the case with most forums on any vehicle. The thing is most peoples who are happy and satisfied with their service usually don't take the time to post, but if they feel they got bad service, screwed over whatever that's bad, they will rant or tell whoever is listening. Yes I had a bad experience with the service department where I got my Titan from but there are other dealers I can take my truck to. I'm sure of the 7 or 8 dealers around town I'll find a good one.

I am happy with my truck. Any issue that came up in the 1st 15k was handled during the 15k service last week. They kept the truck for 2 days but I didn't need it since I was staying around the house anyway.
BCM, brake judder, EVAP drainage were all handled without hesitation or questions. They knew what needed to be done and I made every effort on my part to educate them about issues up to and including providing pictures of the problems. It helps that my dealer claims to be the top selling Titan dealer in the Northeast (northeast what I don't know, could be NE Delaware in which case they are the ONLY one) so I assume they see a lot of Titans and get to know the issues that pop up with them from time to time.
My buddy has a '05 GTO and we were looking at the TSB list on those...YIKES!! One said that if the shifter gets locked out from shifting while sitting in neutral it is ok 5% of the time! It should never happen!
I am happy with my purchase and don't hesitate recommending the Titan to others when they ask me about it.

I'm very happy with mine also. So are my buddies since two of my buddies bought Titan SE's this weekend......all because of mine. Got goodies from the dealership too because of my referrals.

Toss my hat into the "Happy Owners" ring.... had the brake fix done... thats the only issue I had, I've owned both Ford and Chevy Trucks... the Titan is the best bang for the buck out there!!!
Very happy with my Titan, best truck I have owned. The few problems I have had were fixed quickly by dealer service dept. Most problems I have had I wouldn't have worried about them if it wasn't under warranty. At this point if I were looking to trade it would be an easy choice to get another Titan.

I had the brake fix done at 3200 miles with no questions asked. No Problem here. I had the rear seat covers replaced because of some threads coming loose on the fabric (I am very picky about my truck). Replaced with no problems. I love the looks, the power, and the value. Build quality is just what I expected in a new truck. Transmission is smooth and silky, no wind noise or water leaks to speak of. Had the windows tinted (when you do, make sure that they replace the inside rubber with velvet to not scratch the tint). I am a convert from ford trucks. My friends didn't think that I would ever do it, but they all love my truck and want to get one once they drove it for themselves. To be honest, I have had at least one problem with the 7 new vehicles that I have purchased ( I like to buy new because you never know what the vehicle was put through). This is my first Nissan, and it will definitely NOT be my last. My father wants this truck when I am finished with it, when I replace it, I WILL get another TITAN!!

My 2004 Titan King cab, SE, purchased one month ago with 28,000 miles on her. I have driven it around 2,000 miles.I love this truck and many others have pure envy on their faces, when they see it. The previous owner had already replaced the brakes, I'm not having any problems with them, no dust. So, count me a happy camper!
