Finally got some results at dealership service dept!

Well my Titan finally started showing signs of the brake issue. And I had this strange clicking noise coming from under the driver side dash. I took the day off of work and headed to the dealership.

This was the second time I took it down for the noise issue, the first time they blamed it on my wheel lock in the glove box! Anyway, as far as the brakes they replaced the front pads and rotors and the note for the rear brakes says, "Machined rear brake rotors and replaced rear pads per TSB", what does Machined mean? I don't want to sound stupid, I just don't understand what they mean by that. There is night and day difference in the brakes, I guess I didn't realize how bad it had gotten.

As far as the noise they said it was a "front cowl" causing the issue and they inserted foam from the sqeak and rattle kit. This solved this issue as well.

Good job Landers Nissan in Southaven, MS!!

"Machined" means that they took a thin cut off the rear brake rotors on a brake lathe to true their surfaces.

Machined the rotors means they resurface it to make it smooth again. Its a normal process with any vehicles when you get your brake service.
