Exclamation A/C fix question

I had the A/C TSB done...the one that deals with the warm AC at idle issue. My question is .....now that it's been done, the fan in front of the condenser doesn't come on with the AC (I've yet to see it come on at all) and the AC cycles on 4 seconds, then off...cooling only slightly and for a short time and then keeps cycling on and off. Sounds like they screwed something up. Any thoughts?

Re: A/C fix question

could it be too cold out to use the a/c? perhaps it is measuring the temp and cycling on and off?

The A/C works if the ambient temp is above 34 degrees according to Nissan (which makes sense because you can use DEF in winter). It was 60 degrees out that day. The fan not coming on concerns me since before the "fix" it ALWAYS came on with the A/C....always.

Re: A/C fix question

then I would definitely have them take a look becuase it should stay on @ 60 for much longer than 4 seconds and that fan should kick on when the exchanger gets warm

Hudson Valley Titan ? for ya......Hows your AC working?
Mine sound like it is working just like yours the AC compresser keeps truning on and off and will not cool the truck down. I just hade the AC update done in Aug. and when it's warm out and I trun on my AC it will not blow cold unless I push in the recirculating button. then it will blow cold.

Before it would only blow cold while the truck was moving. At a stop it would blow warm. And it dose seem to cycle on and off alot more then before.
Thanks for any info you can share.
Deep.

Re: A/C fix question

I can't reall tell yet. It's been too cool outside. Does your electric fan in front of the condenser working? Mine isn't...I don't think.
