I got home and the indicator on the dash was lit as well as the tire pressure screen on the Nav System. That one showed I have 30 psi in 3 of the 4 tires and 29 psi in the remaining 1. That one was a red box that said to check all tires.
This morning I drove to the dealer, about 6 miles away, and had them take alook at it. Turns out that the extreme change in temperature in that day caused a lot of people the same problem. The service guys said that last night they had at least 30 people drive in between 5 and 6pm with the same problem.
The temperature around here went from the 60's on Monday and Tuesday to the low 20's on Wednesday. It seems as if that threw off the sensors and caused the problem. I had no flats other than having less than optimal pressure in the tires.
While I was there I had them replace the front license plate holder on my skid plate so the local cops will leave me alone again. It now sits up higher than the previous one so that it might not get ripped off the next time I drive through a snowbank. Yeah right, like I won't try to find a snowbank that will rip it right off.

Mine came on this morning also(temps are in the high teens with wind chill factored in). I pumped them all up to 38psi and the light is out (they were a little low at 32psi). Seems we are getting the same weather as you!

That's been common since Titan came out. Tires pressures should be checked cold and kept at the recommended pressure (35 PSI for OR equipped trucks). They really need to recalibrate it so it doesn't come on until pressure goes far below 30 PSI.

Mine lit up last week. Called dealer who said to just check pressures and fill. On the 18 inch tires the pressures were max 44psi. Mine were at 38 x3 and 32.
Apparently a friend said that the Toys have to go to dealer to get a reset, so I felt fortunate there.

mine came on this morning right as me and coworker were pulling out of the drive way. all mine were about 28 and 30. will the light go out after i fill them up properly or do i have to have it reset at the dealer? and it was 28 degrees this morning.

Normally the light will go out after you refill the low tire and drive a short distance, but the last time mine came on, it took 50 miles before it went out. My light is on now due to the big temperature drop. I may take them up another pound or two to see if that helps. I've been running them at 35 psi.
Interesting, I too had this issue this morning with the light coming on, temp was in the low 20's. The NAV was saying they were at 28psi but by the time I got to work they were at 32psi.

Mine did this about a month ago when the temp first did a big drop. Luckily the dealer warned me of it when I bought the truck. Apparently they are tired of everyone coming in soon as the light flashes on at the first cold spell.
I had 'low tire light' go off about a month ago, it had gotten a little chilly the night before.
And again this morning-temps got down to 21 last night.
So, I knew fixing the problem woudln't be difficult...But I what I didn't realize would be so difficult was dealing with the metal handle on the air hose when its this cold!!
I'm turing into such a wimp, is it April yet..???

The general rule of thumb is that for each 10 degree change in temperature there is a 1 lb change in tire pressure. You can switch to Nitrogen like NASCAR and COSTCO use, it is a little more stable than just compressed air.
1.) The system is doing what it is designed to do .... inform the driver to CHECK tire pressure !! ( THIS IS A GOOD THING )
2.) Fill tires with Nitrogen and this will solve the tempurature fluctuation issue
