Sand Addiction Mag - Titan 800 HP

Anyone else see this article?

Sand Addiction Magazine is awesome.

Everything is bad *** except they put an 150 body on it. And fuel consumption.... 2 MPG

Re: Sand Addiction Mag - Titan 800 HP

Thats a pic of Marty Coynes Trophy truck (ex Robby gordon), nothing even close to a Titan, hell, nothing even close to an f-150 either. It's sponsored by Procomp, who also sponsors a sand car and they have their show truck (a titan) in that issue. Im sure the editor needed a new lift and hit up Procomp to do a feature/advertising for some free swag. Oh, boy, now were gonna have people thinking that there is a bolt-on kit for 800 hp and 30" of wheel travel. Dont email me, call 4 wheel parts and ask them about this kit. And yes, you can run 39" tires on this truck.

I have no interest in the Ford/Titan fraud, but be sure and let me know when they get the sand bunny galleries working!

Re: Sand Addiction Mag - Titan 800 HP

Well in the magazine it said it was a Titan, with ford body, done up by Robby Gordon.

800HP 2 Miles Per Gallon.

could it be they have a new truck? With the same body?

So your saying the article is for the titan and they took pictures of the wrong truck?

It is no brands truck. A trophy truck is a custom tube frame chassis. The engine and fiberglass pretty much determine the brand of truck.

Re: Sand Addiction Mag - Titan 800 HP

I have the mag, and it is an article about three differnt vehicles all sponsored by Procomp (Coyne's TT, a sand car, and the titan). If it says its a titan TT, then I would guess it slipped by one of the copy editors. That particular truck is probably 6-7 years old now, built by robby Gordon and has many different paint jobs. Its a mid engine, v-drive, rg shocked monster. Coyne bought it about a year or two ago. the truck is very fast and Coyne is a very good driver. He won in that truck at the Nissan nationals in Chula vista a month ago.
