Well I bought my TITAN yesterday , an 04 CC LE with 5,250 miles on it. Went to have the Front end aligned and much to my dismay found out that even when they adjust it as far as they can it's not enough. Both the front tires are still toed in to far , and they can't get the camber right either. Casper is OK. I hate to do it but I may have to return it. I have 3 days under Ga. Law.
Anyone else had a problem with this ? TIA ,looking for help FAST ! I like the truck and hate to have to return it. Car Fax said mionor L rear . The Frame is Straight. I'm at a loss here.
I say take it to another shop. Unless it was wrecked, there is no reason for them to not be able to align it. The toe should have more adjustment than any other parameter. Just my .02. Nate
Why did you out of the blue take it for an alignment?? Was it bought from a dealer or private sale? Was there a Carfax run on it? Sounds like it may have been in an accident if 3 shops can't bring it into spec.
I've not bought a new vehicle yet that didn't need an alignment because of severe cinching down on transport trucks. But something has to be bent or broken on yours. There's no way they shouldn't be able to properly bring it back to spec.

It wasn't out of the blue. I took it to the shop that does the work on my trucks to get it checked out. ( pre buy ) They said it looked good, but needed an alignment. So I bought it and took it in to have it done. I bought from a dealership. Carfax said minor L rearend collison. The shop I do business with checked the frame and it is straight.
They have it in spec's ( barely ) , but said the adjustment is maxed out and it still is toed in / with camber off as well . They think I will still have the front tires wear prematurely the way it is.
The dealer should be able to do the alignment.... that is of course if you purchased it from a Nissan Dealer. If so, have them fix it. If they can't, it's theirs.
Looks like it will be theirs once more. I like everything about this truck ( minus the alignment problem ) I really hate to turn it back in. Looks like I may not have a choice. It is still under the Factory warrenty, and I also bought a 100k warrenty. But they are worthless if I can't get it fixed.
Ahhhh, it's used.....ok...makes more sense to me then.

This may be alittle off topic but kinda related.
When I got my new tires a few week ago (stock size but BFG TA KO's), they asked if I wanted an alignment. I said yes because I have always heard to do one after getting new tires. The truck did not pull either direction and the steering wheel sat straight at 12 o'clock.
Well during the alignment I watched the guy doing it and he showed me the specs and how it read on the machine. It was fairly off according to him and the machine. Enough that he asked if it pulled. I said no problems.
Well I had them "align" it and after driving it home and around town a few weeks it is a tiny bit off. The steering wheel sits just a couple of hairs towards 11 o'clock and it pulls ever so slightly towards the right.
I have the warranty on the alignment that aloows me to have it redone unlimited times in a 12 month span, but I think Nissan has to do it if the specs are that fine. The tire tech guys said the specs were super tight also.
Mine is going back at 4:30 today . I hate it, I wanted to keep this truck. Guess I'll look for another one. I feel sorry for who ever ends up with this one.
