Re: All Weather Floormats

I bought the ones from Cabella's. They are the x-treme brand with the Cabella label. They fit great, look good and basically do the job as advertised. Only drawback is that they have a plug fitting that you screw into the truck carpet to hold the mat in place. Will probably leave a little hole but not sure I really care because in the summer I will put the regular carpet mats in and its all covered. The others that looked good were the weathertech mats. They all cost about the same around $85 for front and back. Cabella's has free shipping which is worth about $15.

Good luck

Dave

Re: All Weather Floormats

X-Treme Catch all is what I use as well.

There is two kinds

X-Treme = Resin based (easy cleaning)
Catch all = Carpeted

I didn't mess with the plug fitting... I just snapped the cap on and laid it in the truck...it stays in place just fine.

Re: All Weather Floormats

The Factory NISSAN ones are best IMHO...

They are thick and beefy... Will hold in gravel, slush etc...

They come in a 4 pack and are availble for crew or king cab...

These are pictures of the actual Titan floor mats...

Available here:

Re: All Weather Floormats

I have the catch-all premiums. I have done extensive homework on the mats and the only one I think might be better than the catch-alls is the weathertech, but I still haven't seen pictures of them in action.

The thing that makes the catch-alls nice is they are a floor liner that are as thick as a floor mat. Floor liners are too thin and over time will fold over and crease, floor mats don't have the coverage but are a great material. The catch all is the best of both. The channels that run around the mat is also very nice.

Weathertech are made of the thinner floor liner material (i think) but they cover so much area that folding over should not be an issue as your foot will never be near an edge.

Re: All Weather Floormats

I have Husky liners and finding them to have some shortcomings.
The rock salt quickly accumulated on them and got all over the cuff of one leg of my pants. There are no channels to hold the liquid so it sits there making it slick under the feet sometimes. Also, they slide around a bit. THey are good for the summer but stink so far this winter with 2 inches of snow on the ground a week after it fell but they are better than all that salt getting into the carpet and working on rusting out the floor pan...

Re: All Weather Floormats

i have weathertech front floor liners and they are the best i've ever seen. they're molded to fit perfectly and it even extends over the side door sill so liquids and other items don't get into that crevice near the sill and the carpet.

i opted for the husky rear liner because weathertech didn't make a liners for the back. if you get the husky rear liner and you have captain's chairs with the center console, you gotta trim the liner a bit because it can also work with the bench seats without center console.

Re: All Weather Floormats

One thing PerformanceNissmo forgot to mention about the Nissan OEM Rubber Mats are that the drivers side has a hole in the bottom left corner of the mat. That is because the Titan has a stud already built in for this mat. All you do is push the mat on top of the stud and whoalla, the mat fits perfect, no moving or sliding, not to mention, you don't need to drill a hole on your precious Titan. I bought the Nissan OEM Rubber Mats and simply love them for the winter. I didn't sell my carpeted mats because I use them in the summer. The rubber ones in my opinion are the best all around mat. Oh, and they have TITAN stamped on the mat also!

Re: All Weather Floormats

Husky liners. I think they are great, no problems, fit good, have them front and back in crew cab.

Sorry, I have to disagree, and I do so very strongly. The problem IMHO with those mats is they cut out around the dead pedal area, and that is where my left foot lives because this vehicle does not have a clutch. My old Nissan Hardbody's carpet was destroyed because I had factory mats in it and that area was not protected eithor.

I have the Husky Mats, not the Liners. For the most part I like them very much, they fit fine, they cover up the full floor including the dead pedal. They could admitedly be better if they were just a few inches longer, but I'm happy with them.

I can't remember the price, but I did get them from autoanything.com

Re: All Weather Floormats

The husky liners are junk, the husky mats are probably the best mats around. Covering the dead pedal is a must. My catch alls cover 20% of the dead pedal, which is not nearly enough. The reason I did not go with the husky mats is that I don't feel they have an adiquite (sp?) channel for water. They appear to have a 1/4 " channel around the mat. And since they are rubber they water would pool until it overflows.

Would someone please post pics of the weathertechs so we can put the all weather mat debates to an end.

Re: All Weather Floormats

I have the Nissan carpet and rubber mats. Don't know how they are in the winter but I am about to find out soon. They work well in the rainy season here in FL. I rarely use the carpet mats, even though they look good.

I guess it all depends on how much snow you track into your vehicle. For myself (and notice where I live, it's not like we don't get big snow) this channel size has not been an issue at all. I do admit though, when I get in ANY vehicle, I hold my legs outside and sort of clap my feet together to knock off most of what is on my shoes, before I swing my legs in and close the door.

Re: All Weather Floormats

QuadT you are right, the "dead pedal" is open to your foot on the Nissan Rubber Mat design. I don't rest my foot there. I rest it on the mat. Besides, my personal reason is that the OEM Nissan Mats are thicker than the mat you provided. The outer edge is much more thicker also. If anyone feels that the dead pedal must be covered, then get the aftermarket ones that will slip if you don't screw it in your floor board. If you want a high quality rubber thick mat that won't slip and you don't have to screw it down, get the OEM Nissan Rubber mats. Both will work, it's just a decision you have to make.
