It should be the same rear as in the US. They are all assembled in Canton, MS. We haven't had many 06 repalcements. Is yours a 4X4?

Deep--good to hear from you

No, we need more people that have reported failures to file with the NHSTA and report their ODI #. What is your rear-end part number? It should be 43001-7S37B.

Is it cold enough for you? It looks like a low of -11 F for us tonight.

Attached is the latest log. Please let me know if I have missed any information.

White -My rear diff was changed last week free of charge after it locked up. Spider gear is what I was told. 47,000 miles on it. The number I got from a sticker I pulled off is 43003-ZH05D? I've heard there are 3 different part numbers and someone started another thread about that in another section here on TT. Is this true? Also has anything been done on the replacement diffs to ensure this doesnt happen again or are they just installing the same thing? My number is 10182705 for the complaint.

ZH05D is supposed to be the newly designed locking diff as far as I know. This is off your new diff or the failed one????

I don't think we have any ZH series on record as failing. They ARE supposed to be the NEW AND IMPROVED e-locker.

Sorry. That number was off the new diff. I was not able to get the old number before I wrote this. I was told by my service guy that this is the new and improved version?? I have no reason to not believe him. In fact he has been more than willing to work on any of problems with my cars. Thats a point I have been tryin to make on another thread here about rear diffs failing. I was looking for some back-up info to continue.....

He did say that mine was the first e-locker and big tow combo he had seen fail??

It runs good now and seems a little smoother with the drop shackles I just put on it today.

That's good to hear! I think Nissan quietly fixed this problem. Of course that doesn't help the '04 and '05s with the old rear.

Looks like you captured most everything except I tow a Toy-hauler and a 7000lb camper. Sometimes a lone four wheeler in the bed, 700+lbs. The most I've ever towed with it was a friends trailer with 4 ATV's and all the gear. We rolled across scales just for grins and topped out at 8100lbs.

This rear diff thing doesnt change my opinion of my Titan one bit.

Doesn't help with the non-elockers

If you have the Big Tow/Offroad Package, The diff is the same as the Offroad Package.

Re: Here's # of Rear Diff Failures Reported

I have filed mine on line but you dod not have me listed in your spread sheet as you can see from my posts I lost 2 rear dif's and this week lost my front and there was no driver abuse on the front, and what kind of BS is that anyway.? I thought these Trucks where the baddest thing since a Power woagon? Can't take much in my opinion . I'm ready to unlaod after 2 1/2 yrs and 75,000 miles. I bought this truck for the long haul and this last failure is going to cost me a small fortune!
