Mirror Cover Installation?

So I got the new Chrome fronts for my XE and but am trying to figure out how to install. I figured Id just try and stick a screwdriver in between and pop the front piece out but that started bending the plastic. Is this how its done or am I doing it wrong. I got the handles too but already found the install instructions/pics on that. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Mirror Cover Installation?

Figured it out, just kept going at it with the screwdriver and they came off. It was a violet sound though with the clips popping out but everything went on fine.

Re: Mirror Cover Installation?

FFtitan,

Where did you get the covers? I would be interested in getting a pair.

Thanks
