new resonator

for the one ok maybe two people who think their exhaust is a little loud i got the zoomers tip and it actually works.i never wanted it quite but the drone was a little much for my taste on longer trips.the first day i thought i might had made it to quite and i was not happy but it was just because i was used to the stock exhaust.after a couple of days i thought it was perfect.if you are afraid it will make it to quite dont worry it wont.its still a good bit louder than the rest of the stock trucks except for the hemi and i would say its between it and a stock titan.for those of you looking to calm it down a little i hope this helps

Re: new resonator

The Zoomers tip is one of the prettiest on the market, although they could stamp the logo a bit deeper in the stainless (cause it is cool looking). The angle is right. The rolled tip is pretty. That funky screen thing is wild. I really like my Zoomer system (I can't say love cause Mrs.rico387 is laying next to me as I type on my laptop. I only love her). But the Zoomer has a wierd flare at the attachment point. It is cool. It does work. Paying attention John Banks?

Re: new resonator

How is the resonator installed ? Clamps on or is it welded on ?
Any modification to existing exhaust required ?
I want to quite mine down some too.

Re: new resonator

Yes... I am interested in how it mounts as well... I have the Banks Exhaust which rocks, but sometimes the drone is a bit much. The drone is less with the AFE Stage 2 CAI, but it is still there.

Anyone else running the Cannon Tip on a Banks Exhaust?... curious as to what you think.

Re: new resonator

To install the Cannon tip on the stock exhaust, you need to trim the existing tailpipe back. You can then either clamp it on on weld it. Welding is the preferred method. I took mine to Midas, and they put it on (welded) for $20 in about 15 minutes. Here is a link to another posting that shows the tip installed. I had mine installed the same way: http://www.titantalk.com/forums/395223-post25.html
