I think that it looks better without the chrome strip and badges.

I agree!! Us poor folks that bought the XE are glad we did whenever we see an SE or LE with that over-chromed front end and blingin' mirrors.

also- you can only floss that black/red paint job if you put on some gold daytons and hire a mariacchi band to ride in the back all day.

Honestly, I'm not much of a stripes kinda guy, but I have to say those dual silver stripes that run up the hood, over the roof and down the hatchback on the 2005 Roush Mustangs look pretty good. It's not as bright as white stripes, so it doesn't shout, "Look at me! Look at me!" but it is a slightly more subtle addition that adds to the overall muscular look of the car.

Re: Guy, what u think on paint??

Well, if you do the paint, I would do something very subtle. Maybe a black with smoke/granite/silver/copper two tone, but not the red....I don't even like it on the Ferd in the photo. To each his own......

Re: Guy, what u think on paint??

How about something like this instead?
http://www.scomfort.com/ - they have a couple Titans there on their conversion page. I've seen a couple of their Chevy trucks in person, the paint blend is sweet!

Re: Guy, what u think on paint??

I dunno as well....it could turn out to look pretty good, but more than likely you prolly will think it sucks, and thats a costly sucky mistake. I'd just try to add the bumper ornament, that'd give your truck just as many looks, and it would be even more fun to ride than your titan
