2 WD or FWD with chains and/or cables
I meant FWD NOT DWD.
We were driving to South Lake Tahoe and you wouldn't believe some of the idiots out there driving with chains/cables on the wrong axles or don't know how to drive in the snow!!!
Here are some winners for ya: Saw a stranded Honda Odyssey ('01-'04) with a set of cables on the rear axles; a Nissan Maxima ('04/'05) driving with a set of cables on the rear axles - he was sliding; a Camry with chains on the rear; a Pre-Runner Tacoma slipping and sliding, probably has his locker locked up; people just gas it and expect the car to move on ice and snow!!! Another with cables so lose, it almost wrap around the axle, the car wouldn't move, the tires would just spin, the tow truck driver pulled this car over to fix it for them.
And the grand prize goes to this moron in a Saturn with one cable in the front axle, yes, ONE. He said he couldn't put the other one on!
I can't wait to get some new BFG KO for my truck! Those are great for snow driving. The OEM BFG Rugged Trail are ok but I can feel they are not biting as much in the snow as the KO I had on my previous truck.
