Other Than Brakes No Problems With My 05..Anyone Else?
Did I get a "Good One" or are the problems blown out of proportion? My 2005 4X4 LE CC Off Road, Big Tow, has been flawless except for the brakes that now have the permanent fix. I have just over 12,000 miles, the truck was built in 12/04 and became mine in February 05. Of course it's black.

Similiar truck here in Red Alert with 12/04 build date. Bought it in January, 05. Not even sure I really had the brake problem. May be I imagined occasional judder, but dealer gave me the latest fix, no questions asked.
That was at about 5000 miles. I'm at 9200 now and truck is flawless. Regards, John

I've got '05 with brake shudder starting at 3k, but nothing else really. I'm going in this Friday for perm brake fix too.
I guess the only things I can complain about are the R/F stereo(sucks). Also, on the nav, when you're zoomed in, the pointer jumps too far when I want to highlight a certain street. It will jump like a 1/4 mile with even the smallest nudge of the joystick. Way to hard to nail the street I want. Wifes toyota nav with touch screen is super easy. Guess my solution is to get an Eclipse nav head, which uses the same interface as toyota.

05 CC LE Big Tow Package - 11/04 build date, brake fix @ 7K, no other problems to speak of. Everything works perfectly, currently have 22K mi.

Mine only had the brake issue. Now I've got a squeak seat.

I purchased my 05 in Nov 05 it has a build date of June 05. Only have 2200 miles no problems except sticky latch on passenger KC rear door. Get a lot of brake dust on my front wheels is this a prelude to brake problems?

2005 SE 4x4 crew cab red alert, 6,500 miles- No problems except for brakes (which has been fixed) and also a clicking noise under dash (Only heard twice,which makes it difficult to find).

I have a build date of 2/05 and purchased 3/30/05, no problems so far except a rattle or two in the dash, original brakes still holding up no real judder yet, I get a lot of brake dust but it is hard to see on the charcole rims.

Service to date:
Rear door latches stick. (latches removed and factory paste lube removed). Seat squeek (fixed one and other is intermittant). Brake fix (requested and not needed). Bed shake (common on all Titans and no resolution). Front defroster panel rattle (haven't had that looked at yet). Door handles freeze (TSB. Handles arrived today). Parking brake did not hold (Two adjustments fixed problem) All in all, a pretty decent record for 9500 miles so far. Born on June '05

Mine was a 1/05 built truck, and now has about 19k miles on her.
Other then the brake TSB. I had the AC TSB done. Also had the TSB done on all 4 door for the freezing problem. Also had one rear window regulater bad when I took delivery of the truck. All has been made right. This is all small stuff to me and is no big deal at all. I love this truck!! I'm glade I got Nissan to build me this new one!! My old 04 there was no way I was going to hang onto that one! I new I just got one of those bad trucks that anyone can get at some point from any Manufacture with also a big mess comming from the dealer as well..  Deep.
