Newbie Here....

After months of lurking on this site i finally gots me a 2006 Nissan TITAN LE 4x4 CC. I finally made the switch from my 02' TUNDRA to the TITAN. Great site!! Very Informative as it helps me decide on what to do next. Over the next couple of months i will be doing upgrades and ill be making sure to share what i got. I really wanted the RED ALERT but no one had one so i decided on Radiant Silver cause it's easy to keep clean... Nice to meet you all!!

This is what i had:

This is what i'm rockin' now!:

What are your thoughts on the Tundra? I was considering one, but liked the Titan interior better.

Re: Newbie Here....

I loved my Tundra, great truck. I drove my buddies Armada and from that point on i was hooked on the power & size. I also bought a 24ft Toyhauler but was too heavy for the Tundra. Thus, this is where MORE power was needed. Didn't want a F250 due to its size. If the Tundra could pull the Toyhauler then i would of re-consider. It was time for an ungrade since the family is growing. My Titan is pretty loaded with the exception of the NAV & DVD system. Which i plan to upgrade to an aftermarket NAV with XM Traffic and an DVD in the back as well. I heard that the rear console is pre-wired for a system true?..

For the Nissan entertainment system yes. I used their wiring harness anyway and spliced in....

Re: Newbie Here....

Too bad you couldn't swap out the wheels & tires onto your Titan. They'd have looked max on this truck!

Nice truck! Enjoy, and welcome!

Re: Newbie Here....

I sold it with the TUNDRA. Besides, those were only 16x9's. I'm looking to add some 20's with 35x12.50x20 Toyo's on a 6-8" lift. Thanks!

Re: Newbie Here....

Welcome to TT, and congrats on your new truck. I also traded in a Toyota for my Titan. The Toyota was a great truck but my camper was just a bit much for it.

Nice selection of color by the way. Silver is easy to keep clean and it dosen't show those small scratches like the darker colors do.

Re: Newbie Here....

Don't get those silly "Red Alert" blues, whether you think so now or not, you actually got THE fastest and sweetest color available! Nice rig, and by the looks of your Tundra, have fun with your mods.

Re: Newbie Here....

Yeah we let those guys think they have the fastest color so they have so they don't get to depressed when our silver trucks pick up all the chicks.

Oh, and baseballfanz the cops think red is the fastest too ;p
