Need a new radiator

Well Nissan is putting a new radiator in my truck tomorrow, they had one overnighted from NY. I was losing about a gal. of coolent per 24 hours. I told them that I have the brake judder so that I can get new brakes while it's there although the brakes are not that bad yet...but I know the brakes are the original ones so whatever. I want new ones though!

Anyway...do they have to rip apart the whole front end? I have a bull bar and PIAA fog lights installed and I dont want them to messing with it.

Re: Need a new radiator

Great...I just looked up how to remove the radiator and they have to remove my Volant. Plus...all the wires for my fog lights are zip-tied to the Volant duct work. They better not mess anything up.

If they have a new blade in the Saw-Zall, it will make nice clean cuts.

Re: Need a new radiator

Just curious as to why your radiator was leaking.

Was it leaking from a seam, or was it somehow punctured???

Anyhow, hope they get it fixed right and soon.

Don't let bestatchess kid ya, everyone knows they don't use a saw-zall anymore. Plazma cutter is the way to go

Last time I saw the dealership take a front end off, they were using a crow bar and a hammer.

Re: Need a new radiator

Ha ha guys. I'm not sure where the radiator was leaking from...I'll find out and post the results when I get the truck back.
