Exclamation STOCK RIDE? or LIFTED RIDES?

I just bought my Titan last night 1/31/06 ;06 4x4cc Le. fully loaded navigation, dvd, sunroof, off road etc etc...list goes on and on, and I am proud to say that I have joined the Titan family, so a big thanks ya'll. I just recently became a fan of the off road world and am still pondering on whether or not to lift my truck or to keep it bone stock. Some friends say that I shoulden't ever dare to potentially hurt the $43,530 msrp price tag on my titan, but dang ya'lls thats why I got the beast in the first place. So what should I do??????? I was thinking of going for the cst 8-9inch lift and putting 20s' with 37 bfg's all terrains and just haul so major tail! But at the same time don't wanna jeopardize the ride comfort and handling of the stock setup. So I would appreciate pretty much anyones advice who have either lifted their truck or people who have gone offroading just with the stock ride to give me some comparison with the 2 alternatives..... thanks so much eagerly anticipating suggestions and personal experiences.
Last but not least whats best for occasional light to moderate offroading? Stock/ 6 inch procomp lift/7-9inch cst lift/ or just a light 3-4 inch lift????

P.S thinking of getting exhast, intake, mod chip and some guard bumper/light grilles...along with the lift and wheels/tire package5-6k total on mod setup.

Whatever you decide, go check out PrerunnerGreg's site www.titanspecialist.com. "PRG" is a member and supporting vendor here and everyone who has done business with him has nothing but great things to say about him and his products and services.

Re: STOCK RIDE? or LIFTED RIDES?

I think you need to define your concept of "offroading." Exactly what type of terrain do you intend to conquer with your Titan?

I agree with Titan1080. Call Greg and tell him what level of Off-Roading you want to do and I'm sure he can recommend the best set-up.

Why not if they are a sturdy rim and the truck has plenty of power to turn them?

As long as he has plenty of sidewall between expensive rim and immovable trail object.
