I might have a RECALL!

I got home after 5 and had a message from the stealership I hate. "This is your service advisor,I may have a recall for your titan."

WTF! How can you "may have a recall for you". They have my VIN, the truck was purchased originally from them, its been serviced there about a month ago. I hate these people.

Anybody have any idea what they are talking about?

The body harness

Sorry, should have added that the only thing they fixed last time (out of 7 complaints) was the body harness.

If this is a recall why didn't I get a letter? We have had a recall on 5 different vehicles and 2 atv's. All of the recalls were notified with snail mail.

The tow harness fuse under the dash was the last recall on the TITAN. I assume that's what you mean by the harness. No idea what else he has for you...unless he's talking about a TSB and not a recall.

Yeah, I have no idea either! I guess I will find out Monday.

I train customer service, and it is so aggravating when something like this occurs. All of this irratation could be avoided by just saying. "Mr Heatherly,your wang chung may be subject to a recall. Please call and confirm." I know, that takes too much time and effort.

One reason I usually change my own oil is, the dealership insists on a free car wash when I bring it in for maint. Fine.
Comes down off the lift, then some kid drives it off somewhere, and 20 minutes later it's ready. Everytime they do it, they miss at least 2 big spots. Now I have to go home and wash it again just to make it look decent. Just change the damn oil so I can drive my dirty truck.
