Front-end alignment problems with the 2.5" leveling kit...
I have the PRG 2.5" leveling kit and 3/4" PRG lift blocks on my Titan. A few months ago, I took it in to the dealer to get a front-end alignment done and now I'm noticing feathering on the outside edge of the front tires. I've have only 1,300 miles on the truck since the alignment was done.
The dealer is willing to do the alignment again at no charge, but why couldn't they do it correctly the first time?
I'm wondering if they did just a toe and go. A toe and go is when they adjust the toe settings and then leave everything else (camber/caster) the same. I even asked the tech if he had to adjust the camber/caster settings and he said the camber was off a little. He told me that he performed a complete four wheel alignment and adjusted all the settings. I don't know, either he was lying or it somehow got knocked out of alignment again.
Has anyone else had any problems getting a front-end alignment done correctly with the 2.5" leveling spacers on the front?

Re: Front-end alignment problems with the 2.5" leveling kit...
I had mine aligned after the prg kit and then redone a month later. The dealership said it was out of toe again. The second time, the steering wheel is now straight, but I think the truck really pulls on roads that slope toward the sholder. High winds really push the truck around.
I drive a ford ranger with a camper and the wind doesn't push it around....and it doesn't pull toward the ditch on a crowned road. The dealership said the alignment tech drives a titan and he drove mine and said it was fine.

If you have a Firestone service center around you, take it in there and pony up the money for the lifetime alignment. That way, any time it is out, you take it there (week nights and Saturdays they are usually open) and get it done based on the terms of the original purchase. Good thing to get done right after installing any kind of levelling kit.

Thats what i did i got mine for 129.99 they had some $30 off sale. I think it is worth every penny especally if you are planning on keeping the truck. Now i want to get my alignment done every oil change because now i have the availibility too with out any further out of pocket expences. 2 alignments done, its allready paid for it self.

I have the 2.5" PRG and Greg fixed the alignment for me there at his house. This was in November and I have not gone to a place to have a professional alignment done. Everything is as smooth and stright as it was when I drove up to Greg's house.
