Both supposedly get 50k+ miles. But the ProComps are about $600 vs. the BFG's $800. I heard good thing about the BFG's AT but have not heard anything about the ProComp.
Thanks guys.

I will not get BFG's again, mine punctured easily and were pretty much shot at 25k, with correct air pressure and rotations. They had poor wet traction too. I'm waiting for the Goodyear Fortera Silent Armors to come out in the correct size.

Konigfritz is probably one of those very rare ones that have bad experience with the BFG AT/KO. Just about everyone that has the AT/KO raves about them, myself included. No doubt in my mind that when the OEM BFG Rugged Trail wears out, I'll put a set of BFG AT/KO on mine. I had great experiences with the BFG AT/KO in the rain, snow, dry, daily conditions, 4wheeling, etc. My old set lasted 40k miles before I sold the truck and it still had plenty of thread left. It is also snow rated (snow flake symbols), if you live in an area that snows.

I've ran BFG All-terrain T/A for the last 13 years on my 1993 Chevy S-10.
My Chevy had a 3" Body lift with 30-9.50-15 BFG's I think I probally averaged 40-45 thousand a set. Absoutely love the BFG's.

The BFG's a built like a tank...I have never seen a better built tire. Its got the ShoulderLock 2 ply full width steel belts, 3 ply ploy TriGuard sidewall, siping, a really cool rim protector bead. You get what you pay for, these tires are strong as hell. And if the needs arises, you can really let these tires get aired-down for more traction in mud or sand. I love em.
After the rapid wear and poor balance of the stock BFG's, I refused to reward the company with a follow up purchase (BFG's parent company is Michelin and they're not on my list of favorite corporations either).
I did buy the Procomp A/T's and have been VERY happy for the last 20k miles. They will spin pretty easily when starting off on wet and oily city streets (the electronic limited slip kills that very quickly) but they have never ever hydro-planed even in huge amounts of water. They are also very good on dirt as well as snow and ice. They still look almost new.

Kinda thinkin I shoulda gone for the pro comps just cuz of the price but Im happy with my BFG ATs so far...hopefull theyll last at least 2 years and at least 30K miles. If they last that long Ill be happy... doesnt seem like dry traction is all that great? seems like I slip a lot when I slam the throttle...dont know really yet though havent abused them too much...for the price...DONT WANT TO ABUSE THEM TO MUCH
I have the BFG's on my truck to. I love them. I had them on my Tundra with about 22,000 miles on it and the tires are still in good shape. I just put the rims/tires on my titan so now they have about 23,000 miles on them. Still grip great. Biggest thing is just make sure you keep the tire pressure correct and rotate about every 5,000 miles or so.
