So I come to tap the great all-knowing wisdom of the TT forum. What do yall think is a good asking price for a 2006 SE CC 4WD BT UT with prefered package? I know I'll miss the LE, but I'm relocating to Colorado and don't want to deal with having to get a second vehicle or getting stuck with what I have now.
As close to invoice price minus rebates (currently $2,250.00 for CC) minus $150.00. Try to wait until the end of the month or end of quarter and the dealer should come close.
Don't worry, the weather is usually quite mild. There are exceptions, however:
March 17-20, 2003
A large, slow moving, moist storm system set up over the southern Great Plains on Monday and brought persistent rain and snow to Southern Colorado from Monday Night through Wednesday night. Most of the accumulating snow fell above 6000 feet, which included the Central and Southeast mountains and high valleys, and the adjacent plains. Areas hardest hit by snow on the plains were the Northern half of El Paso County, and from Southern Pueblo County to the New Mexico state line. Snow amounts just north of Colorado Springs reached above 3 feet, while the official reading at the airport was just 1.7 inches. Many areas around Trinidad received over 1 foot of snow, and Huerfano county amounts close to the mountains ranged from 1 1/2 feet to nearly 4 feet. Sustained winds of 20 to 40 mph caused considerable blowing and drifting of snow, closing several highways and portions of the interstate. Drifts of 4 to 6 feet were reported across portions of Northern El Paso county.
But the greatest amounts of snow fell in and near the Wet Mountains, in Pueblo and Custer counties. Unstable, moist air flowed into the Wet Mountains from Monday night through Wednesday night. Snow amounts were around 5 feet in Custer County northeast of Westcliffe. But even higher amounts were measured and estimated on the east slopes of the Wet Mountains, on the Pueblo Custer county line between 8700 and 9000 feet. Just north of San Isabel Lake in Custer County on highway 165, a very accurate measurement of 74 inches was made. In that same area, an estimate of around 84 inches was logged on the shore of San Isabel Lake. Similar estimates of 6 feet were confirmed a few miles north of San Isabel Lake.

Re: Thinking of selling the Titan...
I just finished reading your install writeup and noticed you're taking it all out to put it in a new truck? Wow. You are passionate about your truck/music. Hopefully the guy who buys your truck realizes the quality of what you've done and offers you an extra 5K to keep the system. Anyone who hasn't read SS's writeup of his system install, you owe it to yourself and SS to check it out. Even if you don't plan on ever doing a stereo install just go check out the post. It is the bar by which all other posts will be measured.

Well I was hoping to get some recent buyers' input on what seems to be achievable.
For instance; Edmunds lists the following for a truck equiped to my preferences:
MSRP: $34,655
Invoice: $31,296
TMV: $31,662
And Go Tigers!
I bought my truck about 3 weeks ago. 2006 KC LE with offroad package, Big tow, Fosgate stereo, Preferred package (I think unless the LE doesn't have this package and it's all stock) with captains chairs for $32,000.

Sammy,
On foreign vehicles, I think if you can get them to do 10% off MSRP (plus any rebates) that is a good deal. On all the foreign vehicles I have bought, I typically end up in this areas +- 1%. That shoudl get you pretty close to invoice.
The only advice I can give is wait until after winter to buy if you can. Buying a 4x4 in non-snow months usually means lower prices, and a higher trade in for your 2wd.....
When are you heading out to Colo? After the bowl game did you decide to go with the other CU for some reason? Good luck with your move and I hope everything works out for you....
