keyless entry

I just bought a new 05 titan xe crew cab. It has power windows and door locks, but no keyless entry. What do I have to do to get keyless entry?

That's been a topic here before and I think you'll like the answer. Apparently, all Titans have the "brain", you just need to buy the key fobs and have them programmed...you'll find the procedure to do that here on the forum! Just do a search.

Re: keyless entry

Should have came with at least one key fob. I would ask your dealer before buying a new fob. Maybe they will give you one and program it for free.

Mine didnt come with one. You can find them online for around $25 and it only takes a minute to program.

Re: keyless entry

They're all over Flea Bay for about $25 - $30.

Re: keyless entry

Has anyone actually bought a key fob off of eBay? If so, and it was a good purchase< is it a vendor who has them all the time and was it specifically for the Titan?

Thanks,

George

Here is a link to a key fob offered by the seller that I bought one from. They will also send you easy to follow instructions for programming it.
