Re: 2006 Nissan Titan for SEMA! Let me know what you think guys?
I'd black it out....with blacked out rims and Toyo Tires with King coilovers. Loose the lights on the roof. Can you mount off road lights behind the grille using an aftermarket grille to keep them hidden? It will give your truck a much sleeker appearance.
Weld Rims....Over American Racing. American Racing is run of the mill. I'd go with the Cheyennes. You can also powdercoat the Welds black then powdercoat clear on top of that.... I have only seen two SD's with that setup and it is bad azz...you would definately be the first on the Titan.
AMP Research Power Steps....Never seen a Titan with those on either.
How high are you planning on going?

Re: 2006 Nissan Titan for SEMA! Let me know what you think guys?
Nice trucks but I don't understand the tire choices. Just about all of the serious real, go get 'um muddy, scraped on rocks, off road trucks are running Interco Super Swamper bias ply TSL's , or the real BFG offroad racing tires depending on the conditions.

The first photo is SEMA 2004
The second photo is SEMA 2005 <--(this is the truck as of now)
The third is coming SEMA 2006
1st and last pic are fine. But the middle pic is an inner-city embarassment IMO.

It's all been done before...Sickest long travel definitely goes to CST...sickest crew cab long travel (in my opinion) goes to Stillen...sickest bagged truck goes to either the silver and red Titan (Courtney from Trucks/Ten magazine) and Sickest crew cab bagged Titan goes to Aaron from Chassis by Aaron...sickest rock crawler goes to the guys from 4wheeler (that big *** one that someone posted earlier) and sickest big king cab titans with bulletproof lifts go to either the candy apple red one...don't know who owns it but I saw it at stillen's Titan day or the green and black one (the guy that owns that one works at 4wheel parts) The only thing that hasn't been done is a fully-built track Titan which would be sick as h@ll...supercharged with a lowered 4-link rear suspension and possibly runnin' NOS as well as the blower...now that would be new and sick, everything else has already been done
Oh and...are you serious??? racer look with a 12 inch lift???...I would bet money that the truck would never see the dirt (except maybe a photo shoot where the truck gets pulled into a patch of grass then gently driven out) and if it did, you'd roll it...sorry but you can't be that tall and not flip...especially with the bulletproof lift...Not trying to bash or anything, I just don't see the point of building something and saying it's going to be the best thing since sliced bread if it isn't...and I hate pavement pounding "offroad trucks"...if your going to call it an offroad truck take it to glamis or someone that you can use it...
Re: 2006 Nissan Titan for SEMA! Let me know what you think guys?
Man, I gotta tell you. I don't even like the exterior appearance the Titan, but I'd buy that SEMA '04 truck. That was sweet. And I'm not much into lowering a perfectly good mpickup, but if I was, I'm sure that SEMA 2005 truck would rock!!
Unlike everyone else, I'm not going to give you any advice or opinion at all on what you should do. Why? Cause you're doing a damn fine job designing all by yourself. I'd hate to mess with perfection bud. I have no doubt however you decide to go is going to be incredible!
Re: 2006 Nissan Titan for SEMA! Let me know what you think guys?
Lookin at Four Wheelers rig, I barely noticed something quite wrong with their Titan: there aren't any drive shafts!!
EDIT: Went back and reread the article, apparently they were pressed for time and the rear drive shaft was stopped at the Canadian border, supposedly, one of the four wheeler guys made a quick temporary shaft, but for some reason, it ain't in the picture....
