I may be opening Pandora's box here, but what does everyone use to clean the dashboard and other plastic inside? IMO Armorall leaves too much shine, I'm looking into an alternative...any ideas?
Too much shine... Yeah I know what you mean, I don't like it either. I've been using Murphy's Oil Soap and warm water mixture with a damp cloth and then dry it off.... it's been working well and leaves your car smelling nice too!

Mothers (as well as a few other companies) makes something called Leather and vinyl cleaner that works very well. It doesn't stink up the interior, doesn't add any unwanted shine, and cleans. Otherwise, just use a lint-free rag with water or some other mild cleaner. There's also a follow-up treatment after called Leather and vinyl conditioner....again, same as the cleaner...doesn't smell or leave an unwanted sheen.

Meguiars--Gold class rich leather cleaner/conditioner for the leather seats. I have less than 2K miles and my drivers seat is very worn--the leather rises or puffs up from the seat.

The main reason I didn't buy the LE. The leather used is garbage.

2 years 21K and lots of short trips in and out. The leather is holding up just fine, thank you.
I didn't want the LE originally because of the leather (leather in a truck?, grunt, Neandrathal-man) but my wife talked me into it and I'm glad she did. Talked me into the Nav, (I know where I'm going, what do I need that stupid thing for?) glad I got that too.
I hate it when she is right all the time.

You're one of the few lucky ones then. But my leather-bashing is also extended to the cloth interiors. I've already had my drivers seat cushion and seat cover replaced once because the fishing-line type material was freying.....the rear seats are now doing the same so.....I wasn't bashing leather-only trucks. I'd love to look into a nice two-tone aftermarket leather interior.

I use 303 on all the plastic, inside or out. The 303 is UV protection for plastic, it does not leave a glossy shine like Armorall.
I hate Armorall for 2 reasons, the shine make the dash a huge source of glare in the sun, and the stuff seems to collect dust. The 303 actually seems to repel the dust.

Saddle soap, Murphy's oil soap, or Fels Naptha (sp?) soap in hot water. Same shine, no sticky, lint catching, getting everything else greasy residue. Now to find something to clean the garbage cloth on our seats...

Exactly!
I pulled back about theonly thread I could find after searching. I hope it gets some new/good ideas added to it. My driver's seat got a stain between my legs from a breakfast bar crumb...
