Hey guys and gals,
I was wondering if any of you have taken your Titan in to get this TSB done. Whenever, I go over some bumps (no one in the seat) it makes the rattling sound. Also, if you take a hold of it and shake it back and forth, it has way too much play in it. The drivers side is pretty solid. I was reading the TSB, and it stated that it was only for manual fold down seats. I have the automatic ones, and am wondering if this could also be the culprit. Another thing, any of you that have the dreaded driver's side squeak, re-torque the bolts. I'm thinking of putting some lock-tight on it to stop from loosening up. I also used some nylon washers between the seat legs and ground, and on the bolts. Sorry for the long post!
I didnt even know there was that TSB I guess I ddint check that online site that lists em...or at leats didnt catch it...BUT at around 15K miles min started that too...my dad noticed it once in the passenger seat and then my cuz and from then on on turns and such it wobbles side to side...I got the powered seats too...my frakin drivers side squeals like heck...dealer said they ordered the new seat since freakin months ago and hasnt gotten me the loaner yet...still waiting for the call...Ive called and called and they tell me oh ye we got one let us call u back and then never do...
Does the TSB work even if you're past 36k warranty period?

Anybody cn do the tsb that has a little mechanical knowledge, a drill, riveter, and lock tight. I performed this TSB to my pass. seat and it has been squeak free since.
My passenger seat was squeaking pretty bad and I just took it in last week for the fix. They said it was actually the seat foam rubbing on the frame and put some kind of spacer in to keep the foam from rubbing on the frame, thus ending the squeak.
I also had my loose (noisy) tailgate tightened and my juddering brakes replaced.
It feels like a brand new truck again! No more squeaks, bangs, or horrendous shaking when stopping.

The dealership had my seats apart last week. I guess they ordered a new bracket for them, have to make an appt soon to have them install it. Mine squeak all the time, really annoying.

Just re-torque the bolts (on mine it was the front two). I added nylon spacers to try and alleviate the metal on metal rubbing. No squeeks for a week. I'm just trying to decide if I should lock-tight it or not. If you have some pictures to show where you rivited, drilled holes, and which screws you put lock-tight on, I would really appriciate it.
