SHOULD I paint my calipers red is what Im wondering...I need some opinions on these photoshops of my truck...Ive been playing with the idea in my head of painted calipers and I was thinkin red cuz I had red calipers on my black trans am...but then again it was all black with red...now my truck is black and chrome...except for the engine bay which I ddi black with red but u dont see that unless its open and its real eye catching...anyway, check it out and tell me what u think...thanks
see thats what I thought but after this phtotshop my friends and fam were like see I told u it looks weird... they said it would take away from the luxury of my truck...and my momma said it would make it look like a toy
It would look good. Try it on one and see for yourself in person and if you feel it wasn't the correct choice you could just paint it black.
Typically I only see this done on sports cars with large openings in the rims because the calipers are usually visible. On the Titan rims they are hidden a bit more.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
I agree with Clint. I always liked that look on the sports cars. I also kinda like the yellow ones that Porsche offers, but then, I haven't seen a Porsche I didn't like.... or a Titan... Better yet, do the calipers in red and paint "TITAN" in white on them.
Would painting iron calipers reduce heat transfer?
Not by any significant degree, keep in mind several manufacturers do this right from the factory.
The most important thing is the proper paint is used, G2 is just about the best.

As you have asked for opinions...
I would not do red on your truck, but that's just me. However, if you had your heart set on painting them I would go silver. The silver color will clearly show you have detailed this part of your truck, but it won't be so flashy. I suspect if you went red they would become a very important visual element because of your truck's color.
