Anybody put LED's in their fron turn signals?

I bought a pair of 24 LED bulbls 3157 to put in my front turn signals in hopes that it would just make them much brighter, but they are the super amber ones and are actually a little lighter (does not flash as bright) as the regular ones. Does anybody know of some really bright LED's to look at. I got these of of ebaay for about $15 shipped. Checked all the local auto stores, but they only have the super red ones. I am thinking about buying the HID ones (same price, but are a bright white, instead of amber) but think this might be illegal (at least in Colorado) and don't want to get harrassed over turn signals. So if anybody has some recomendations of some super bright LED's 3157 I would really appreciate the link. But I can't pay more than $15-$20 or so shipped. I saw some that claim to be really bright (but so did the ones I got) but they want like $50 for them. Thats just crazy.

The bulbs that came with my truck work just fine. Why would you want to spend over $20 for something that isn't as bright?

Putting in a set of Sylvania SilverStar headlamps would be a much more useful investment.

I thought that they would be a lot brighter than the stock ones and just have a cleaner look. I guess I was wrong though.

I have the 12 LED set of hyper white lights and they are just as bright.

I thought about putting the hyper whites on, but I am just worried about getting harrassed. In Colorado, to the best of my knowledge, you have to have Red rear turn signals, and amber front ones. They actually grew on me and I like them now. They do look pretty good, just not as bright, or should I say just a darker color amber, plus now my blinker flashes at like tripple the speed it did, which I think is OK. I call them blinkers on Crack!!

I put the Sylvania Silverstar series Amber Lights on front for my turn signals lights and they have a purplish hue to them. They light up just a bright if not brighter in the amber color. They look really cool in the direct light against the black and chrome of the truck. I found them on e-bay for about 7 bucks for the pair including shipping.
