How many miles do the stock Wranglers normally last on a Titan?

I've got just over 5K miles and I'm noticing some tire wear. At this rate, I figure about 25-30K miles before they get down to the wear indicators. Maybe even less.

Has anyone here replaced their stock tires due to wear yet? If so, how many miles were you able to get out of them?

Re: How many miles do the stock Wranglers normally last on a Titan?

The goodyears do wear very fast. I managed to get over 51,000 miles out of mine but they were toasted at that point. I noticed significant wear at 25,000 miles beginning in the center of the tread pattern. I began pampering it at that point to stretch the life of the tire.

These tires are horrible. I'm at about 30k iles and they will need replacing soon. Like Smoke, mine too wore in the center first. Kind of weird.

It is strange. Generally that is a sign of over inflation. You can force the miles out of the these tires but its really best to get new ones. I also agree that these are horrible tires.

Re: How many miles do the stock Wranglers normally last on a Titan?

I got the rear bald by 15k.

Then purchased another 2 wranglers, and then another two to replace the first two.

Then I replaced all four with Mich's SUV Cross Terrain Tires at a hefty price of $700

Re: How many miles do the stock Wranglers normally last on a Titan?

I was able to make it to 23,000 with the stock BFG ragged trails. 3 of the tires were patched before I got there though. Seems like the Wranglers are just as bad. I replaced them with BFG AT KO's and have put about 10,000 miles on them with no signs of wear or problems.

Iv'e got 31,000 on my stock BFG's, looks like another 15,000 before they get to the indicators. Of course I am rotating all 5 tires. Very even wear, though.

I am at 23K and the tires are at the wear bars, might get to 30k but I doubt it.

Re: How many miles do the stock Wranglers normally last on a Titan?

Most of you in the warm climates will get more miles out of them than I or other people in the northeast will. At 18,000 miles I will not take them through another winter as they aren't looking as they should. The snow and these tires right now aren't a comforting pair. Most likely by June or July I'll have Michelin Cross Terrains on there.

Re: How many miles do the stock Wranglers normally last on a Titan?

the wranglers have a 360 tread wear rating which would mean at best you would get 36000 miles.has everyone been rotating them properly. crossing the front to the oppisite rear?. have a alignment shop close to wear i live that told me about doing this to my wifes 05 subaru and it has 35000 miles on the tires and they still look good and they do a old school alignment with a pit.car go's nice and straight. better take truck there soon.

Wow... I'm at 18,000 and they still look new. I drive mostly highway and no racing, spinning tires, etc. (too old and smart).
