Here's Kennesaw's Build page. The front crossmember on the frame is removed to install their bumper. I'd rather leave it on, but I'll admit that the mounts are more difficult to do it this way.
I've attached a shot of it with the under pieces attached, welded, but not sanded yet.
dude, seriously could u make me one of these? I like it a lot...just the way u got it though...no winch or anything but the way it is in the last pic of course sanded and nice...maybe cut the fog light holes and Im ready to go...that would look awesome...

Thanks for the compliments, but I don't think I'll be making any more... The first one is fun, but at 20-30 Hrs each, I don't think I'll be making any more...

Nice job! I'll give you a couple of suggestions if you don't mind. these are based on issues we had making one for my powerwagon. Put some airflow in the front. These trucks get alot of air from the bumper. And on mine we used a hole saw and cut in openings for fog lights with mounting tabs from angle on inside. A littlie sheet metal ring and it's stronger than without. Lets you mount any brand light you want. Once again nice fab work!

I'm working on some air flow holes also, but Haven't gotten that far yet. I'd also like to mount the factory fogs on here. We'll see what I get done tomorrow morning... Thanks!
I sanded it and went ahead and primed it for now, as I won't be able to work on it until next week sometime. Next week It'll get the finishing touches, and will get painted. I'd really like to get it powdercoated, but I haven't found a place here locally that will do it. I had the rear bumper I built for my jeep powdercoated satin black, and it looked awesome.
I'll revive this thread next week when I have more pics...
That looks WICKED! I like it a lot with the chamfer on the top edge. I also like how you followed the line of the front wheelwell into the side of the bumper. That's slick! Getting it chrome-plated?
Incredible work. I love it. And yes, black satin powdercoat would look great.
If you don't want to make more (understandable) you ought to consider drawing up the material specs and plans and selling them commerically to someone to make them. That's a nice bumper.
