I'd more likely add a front spacer (PRG Leveling kit etc) to make up for the added weight. Better than trying to ballast it with more weight in the rear. My bumper is closer to 100 lbs than the 150lbs that kvoman said his Kennesaw bumper weighs, so I don't think it'll be a problem.
You do notice the additional weight in the front through the steering wheel. It feels a little heavier than before w/o the winch and bumper. I don't know if it would make any difference if you add more weight to the rear. My thinking is if you add more weight to the rear, it would level the truck a bit but adds that much more weight to an already heavy vehicle, which will decrease gas mileage. I don't think that will lighten the front, unless you really load up the bed.
TimC - that's probably what I'll be doing in the future (mini lift from PRG), after all the warranties run out on the truck to level the truck out a little too. Although, when towing the boat or loading the bed with camping gears and towing the boat, the truck sits pretty level, so I'm not 100% sure which way I'll go either.

True. I owned a TJ before the Titan and the heavy front bumper with winch was a problem for weight bias. But with the longer wheel base of the titan that would be less of a problem.
Got the Bumper back from the powdercoater today, and installed it with the Ramsey REP9500e winch. I still need to re-install the factory skid plate, as well as install either the factory fogs, or something else in the fog light holes I added.
I decided against any kind of Brush Guard, because every mock up I did looked bad, so I left it as is. Also, since last posted, I added the airflow holes above the winch, as well as the fog light holes. I still have to build some mounts to make the factory fogs work. I put in some generic light tabs before powdercoating so I could take my time on the mounts for the fogs or if I decided to mount something aftermarket I coud do that too.
You did a nice job, but I don't think I care for the side look. The front end 'face' of the Titan now looks like it has a 'underbite' problem or is totally missing it's 'lower jaw'.

All I need now are the drawings with dimensions, angles & materials and I can register my kid for the high school metal shop class next year. (who needs 4 years of HS French anyway?) Maybe you can get the rear bumper/air tank drawings done by September?

Might look different once the skidplate is back on there.
That looks great, Tim! Hey, how about some tasteful pinstriping on the flat areas? Silver to match your truck, maybe.
Dude, that is bada$$--that's the only winch bumper I've seen that I'd put on my Titan. Most aftermarket bumpers look like hell, but you did a great job. Group buy, anyone??
