What do ya'll think about the Window/Door Pillars painted glossy clearcoated black to match window tint? I had the dealer body shop remove the flat black plastic & had them painted. I think Nissan should have done this stock!

I don't notice the difference, I guess I have to go look at mine...lol. BTW, does anyone know if the chromed pillars from the QX56 will fit the Titan?....I can't se why not....for those wanting a chrome look. I just happened to pass one yesterday and saw the chrome. Looked sharp.

Well that looks like crap...I would have never painted those you should have left the sticker on or spent like 100 for some stainless and try to have them black chromed for another 100 and then end up buying the gloss black plastic trim ones for 180+tax and shipping...only to find out that to get them painted at the "Dealer" in 8hours and it was only 224.....just dumb
Hey Lit'l Brother! All kidding aside looks great and be sure to take it in to them for buffing on Monday.

Too many mods to list PM me I'll tell ya.
As my Bro said it all (RB's Titan), the price was $180 then he went up a little with tax etc of course to $224, but it was done professionally & it turned out great. Also to clairify, these are not any kind of stick-ons repainted. They removed the old black plastic stock layer, sanded the Granite color paint then, re-painted gloss black, clear coated, then buffed later. These pics were before buffing & now it looks even better. I definitely recommend going this route for durability & long term etc! Thanks for comments gents!
Looks good. I would like to have that done myself.
But your truck is Smoke, right?? Why didn't you get them painted Smoke? I think that would have looked better. Oh well, it's still an improvement. Good work. How much$$$?

No my truck is not smoke. I have the new 2006 Texas Titan Granite (gold) color with Steel (grey) interior & lots of chrome (I will be adding more chrome). But I am going for the Space Cab look with all the windows tinted & glossy black, Mirror finish looks sweet!! Keep in mind that is also the way it comes stock but with a plastic Flat black look. Basic if you ask me. My wife has a Gold Axiom & it came stock glossy black & that's what gave me the idea, and of course my Bro (RB's Titan) being the trial user of some stick ons that he used (they look good too), but he had some troubles & more expense etc. He knows all about the stick ons.

Ok then. Now I see what look you are going for. Good deal.

Total cost $224 that includes our Houston,TX local sales Tax (8.25%). Completed by Nissan Dealers Body Shop. This was the first they have done. The Body shop manager thinks he will being doing alot more after seeing the job, he liked it too. Just remember there is just a STOCK FLAT BLACK PLASTIC FILM currently on your truck covering your original TRUCK COLOR on the window pillars. So if you want your truck to look like a Dodge or Ford 4 door you can do it by removing the FLAT BLACK FILM TAPE? etc.
