The Ford was smoking both rear wheels. And it looked like the Titan was a 4X2 so......looked even to me. I want to see that done with the new F-150.

Re: Titan vs. F-150 Tug-O-War

I find it hard to believe that the Titan was a 4x2. It looks like the ford had a posi rear end as both it's tires were smoking. The Titan only has the ABLS (only 1 wheel can spin at a time) which isn't as good as a true posi.

No Ford has "POSI". That's a GM name for one of their LSD rear ends. I didn't see any 4X4 emblem on the rear quarter of the Titan and I didn't see any front wheels spin on the Ford. I doubt it would be worth posting a video if one was a 4X2 and the other was a 4X4 using 4WD.
BTW, I can easily smoke both rear tires....eventually one will overpower the other but in that short distance, it'd do it. I still say the Ford was a 4X2 with an LSD rear and the Titan was also a 4X2. Anyone know for sure?

Im 100% positive its a 4x2. My dad had one just like it..........the 4x4 sits higher, and even with the cheaper 4x4 models that have smaller "off-road" tires, they'll have more fender well space.

Those trucks are pretty weak, especially the 4.6L that will barely pull itself.

I'd want to know what engine was in the Ford before I got too proud about the outcome.

Engine output wouldn't matter. It's a battle of weight and traction, not power. That's why I'm not overly impressed with tug-o-war stories. They prove nothing IMO. Both can still tow a trailer, go great off-road, and both can still blow rear ends or have sh!tty brakes.
