As far a badges go. no 97 or 98 f150s came with a triton v8 badge.
The started putting badges on them when they incresed the output of the 5.4 for 99 from 235hp to 260hp.
The 4.6 remained the same but still got badges.
Some people on here hate getting facts pointed out to them, On the engine I could be wrong cause i cant see under the hood, I'll give that much but the rest of the video is a lame one.
We were called out to a challege last year and all you heard was a bunch of excuses, not one member stepped-up, The challege was a 04/05 Ford vs a 04/05 Titan equally equipped which to those who dont what that means, two trucks of the same year, equipped the same, 5.4 vs 5.6 no mods etc etc a member from here and a member from ford-trucks.com, each can do there own video tapping.
read the thread it makes for some good reading.....
Heres the thread link & the first post from one of our own members
Thanks for reminding everyone about my post. I tried every way I could on both boards to get the challenge done. In the end, the members of both boards backed down. I did offer to put my 4x4 Off Road Armada up against a comparably equipped Ford Expedition, but couldn't get any takers.
Now, if you guys who did not belong to the board then or were not interested then want to issue the challenge again, that's great. Let's just be civil about it, avoid all the trash talk and let the trucks and the driver technique control the outcome. No one ever won any sporting event by running their mouth.

I'm all for some fun, friendly competition, but I'd never tug-of-war with any vehicle. I pamper my baby, and besides I tow and don't need anything bad to happen because I did something stupid. If people want to do a test of towing strength, why not do a sled pull of some sort?

Yep had to knock the dust balls off this thread, and yes you were very civil about it, althought there were a few pot shots taken, over all the thread was good entertainment, kinda like this one is. I wonder if they are having another rally? It would be cool to do a joint meet and have several members from both sides attend. gotta go my popcorns almost done.
