Titan vs. F-150 Tug-O-War

glowinstrat posted this link in another thread, so it's kinda hidden. Let's put it out here for all to see.

Good find, strat!!

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...C9566AA901.htm

A little history-one person owns both trucks. And word is, both trucks are 2WD, but I can't confirm that.

Enjoy!!

Re: Titan vs. F-150 Tug-O-War

That's awesome!!!! Dosen't surprise me in the least though.

Several months ago we had page after page of inuendo about who would come out on top of a F-150 Vs Titan pull off.

Of course the Ferd guys are going to say the Ferd lost B/C it was a step side.

Re: Titan vs. F-150 Tug-O-War

This was a huge controversy around here about 6 months ago... I don't think anyone actually had a video. I am no physicist but does this really tell us anything other than the Titan has better tires.... Oh, and that there are at least two clowns out there who care nothing about their trucks.

I guess you can't read...The same guy who owns the Ford, owns the Titan.

And I think it means a little more than better tires.
If I had brand new tires on my Titan, and hooked-up to an F-350 with old bald tires, who do you think would win?

Who ever had the most traction. It doesn't matter how much power you have if you don't have enough traction you will lose. We have a tug at work with a 4 cylinder ford that will tow that 3/4 ton ford all over the place and our titans also.

BS.

The 3/4 ton weighs much more, resulting in a greater frictional force (coefficicent of friction * weight on each tire). As a result, the 3/4 will be able to put more power to the ground and pull the 4 cylinder all over the place.

Unless the 3/4 has like 0.1 coefficient of friction and the 4-cyl has 1 for uf.

Re: Titan vs. F-150 Tug-O-War

Want to bet? The tug weighs almost 9000lbs. And in top gear will only do about 10 mph.

BTW you made my point for me it boils down to traction, not power. And weight is a factor in traction.

Well, I did it for you since you couldn't, I'm TitanMan and I'm their newest member. In order not to be banned I put before the video, Two great trucks, traction to the Titan. Let's see what happens.
