Clunk vs Thunk, any ideas?

It seems that after the Titan has been sitting for an extended period, say overnight, if I put it into reverse then into drive and start to pull away there is a clunk or a thunk somewhere. It sounds like it is coming from the truck but could be something on the road. It only happens when the truck as set idle for at least a few hours. It happens roughly less than 10mph. There is a slight echo or reverb sound as if hollow metal is hitting hollow metal.

No performance seems to be affected, there are no leaks or loose items that I can find. If I take it to the service dept it wont happen because it is warmed up and I will get the usual "We cant find anything". It may be nothing at all but seeing if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I know this is vague but any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I noticed the exact same thing. I took it to the dealer and they put rubber spring isolators on the rear leafs. I still get that sound but not as often.

It's probably the ABS system test that you are hearing.

Noise at 10mph

A very metallic sound usually at the first good round bump when backing up.
