Roadmaster Active Suspension

I just almost ordered the Roadmaster Active Suspension ($219) for my Titan. That is until I read the installation instructions that call for the removal of the overload spring bracket on the rear of the springs.

Does anyone know what are the possible negative implications of doing this?

Did you ever install this kit? Their website has some convincing arguments. I think I want to try this also.
