Cargo Light Question

How do you turn it off!! ??

What I meant was, how do you keep the cargo light from turning on once the doors open ??

Silly Question, but I misplaced my Owner manual.

thanx!

I looked in the manual and it doesn't look like you can deactivate it for when the doors are opened.

Re: Cargo Light Question

This may be a dumb response, but have you tried turning off the lights in the cab...you know, so the overhead lights don't come on when the doors are opened? Just a thought...

Re: Cargo Light Question

When you open a door, flip the cargo light switch on, then off again and it will turn off the cargo light till next time you open the door. That's the only way I've found to do it.

This works! I thought I tried that last night? Guess I let the door swing back.

Re: Cargo Light Question

I pulled the fuse since there is no way to deactivate the cargo light. I want to add a switch to cancel out the relay which is powered from the BCM, but have not done that yet.
